In my role as Director of Data Products, I had the privilege of not only setting strategy for our full B2B and AI product portfolio, but working closely with the cross-functional team members like Diana.

Both as a design leader and an individual contributor, Diana had an impact on our product suite that was unmatched by most individuals on the team. From hypothesis to discovery to product development, Diana played a key role at every step, in every data product vertical.

At the start of a major strategy shift or pursuit of a new vertical or product, Diana would be one of my first conversations as a trusted partner. She has a keen ability to navigate ambiguity and coalesce a team around a vision. She complements that by playing a tactical role to ensure a successful execution--she's thorough, but moves quickly.

By trade, Diana is a designer, but in reality she is multi-faceted leader and contributor who leans on first principles and constantly obsesses over user needs.

I have been fortunate to work with many designers who leverage human-centered design and empathize with users, but none of them has demonstrated the level of empathy Diana has shown to her own colleagues. From heated sprint meetings to difficult all hands calls and manager feedback training (which she led org-wide), her emotional intelligence has been exceptional.

Diana is a rare multidimensional design leader who embodies the best characteristics we strive for on any team or in any organization. I would welcome the privilege to cross paths with Diana in the future.

Diana is an exceptional product designer, leader, and colleague. Her talent extends far beyond making things look beautiful (although she's very good at that!). She has a remarkable ability to craft solutions that genuinely address user and business challenges.

We do not have a user research team so Diana has really driven this process herself, conducting and synthesizing user research in a way that enables the whole team to create effective, user-focused experiences.

Her leadership role also extends beyond product design to the broader organization. For example, when we identified a need to improve our performance management processes, she volunteered to help and created and delivered feedback training for the entire team.

She is also a true pleasure to work with - she's invested in the team's success, is eager to jump in and solve problems or fill gaps, and is both direct and kind in her communication. Any team would be extremely lucky to have Diana!

Diana is an incredibly thoughtful, caring, and empathetic leader, designer, and colleague. That allows her an ideal lens for approaching problem-solving for the humans involved, enables her consistency in spotting considerations that others miss, and ensures her team will not just be heard but engaged and leveled-up as a result of working with her.

She takes her responsibilities as a leader very seriously and shows it through her commitment to clear communication, organization, and planning. Putting in the work in these areas allows her to be confident and decisive, earning the trust of her team to make the right call.

Whether it be leading the design and development of a new and critical product area for the company, championing and teaching best practices to the broader organization, or mentoring her less-experienced colleagues, I have the utmost trust in her leadership and ability to drive results. She has proven herself exceptional in these efforts consistently, over years and across companies.

Diana’s leadership and contributions will make your product, your team, and you better.

Diana is a values driven, standard setting, product designer and a wonderful person to work with and be around. She is calm, inquisitive, and is always asking “how can I help.” She is direct and clear in the articulation of her work and when giving feedback to others and she always treats everyone with respect, dignity, and care.

And it’s the way she designs too. She understands the products and the people that use them with surgical accuracy and works to champion both at every turn. She is a huge value add when contributing in meetings at the highest level or helping the rest of the design team think about how the work is adhering to usability and accessibility standards.

She was always eager to not only share her knowledge and skill but come up with ways to go the extra mile in creating repeatable training and documentation that would add value to the team and the org long term. She is a constant advocate for inclusivity and leads and designs in an empathetic way.

You should hire her to do great work for sure, but on top of that, you should hire her to help build a great team and culture at your org. She is the person you want to work with.
